The Biblegrrrl network is ready for you!!
Remember when I was talking about how many hours I spend on this blog? It’s so easy to get caught up talking to all of you, reading what you have to say, generally just mixing it up.
Well, now I’m done for. Today Random House launched the network page for my book, and that thing is so mesmerizing I can already tell I’ll be spending about fourteen hours a day on it. Seriously–so many bright shiny features, all these links to follow, special projects I can do to earn points so I can win things like iron-on patches and gift certificates–
And just so you know, my pal Barry Lyga has already announced that he plans to kick my butt at winning points on my own book website, so now the battle is on. How embarrassing would it be to lose to someone who can’t even answer the trivia questions about my book off the top of his head? Grrrr. I must prevail.
But y’all are free to come try to kick my behind as well. Is it wrong to hope we all win things from my publisher?
(Special note #1: “Biblegrrrl” is one of the characters in my novel Evolution, Me, and Other Freaks of Nature. So there’s some beginning trivia for you.
Special note #2: Thank you SO MUCH Wendy, Linda, Kaitlin, and everyone else in the New Media department at Random House Children’s for doing such an utterly incredible job at putting together that website. Talk about talent!)

Very cool. I like the whole HS newspaper concept. And the little chimp in the corner.

Your site is sooo cool! Does RH have promotional materials for it? Bookmarks or something? I’m trying to figure out how I’ll be able to promote it to the kids at my library…
So exciting! I hope you love it!

Robin, I just read the first 2 chapters of your book from your new website. May I just say, I can’t wait to read the rest of your book! Shame on you for creating all this conflict and intrigue and making me wait until August! Very cool discussion board. Congrats!
